This listing is for Cloudlet Cases with Cosmetic Defects. We have tested the Cases for functionality, and guarantee that the issues are cosmetic only. These defects will most commonly be Cracks, Glue marks, or Mismatched Ends. We will randomly select a case, if you have a preference please leave a note at check out and email help@c4labs.com.
For the Raspberry Pi and other Single Board Computers
The Cloudlet Cluster Case was introduced in 2016. Created to be a versatile case for multiple single board computers, it’s innovative design continues to be the best case for Cluster computing. Each Cloudlet Case is laser cut from extra thick acrylic and then hand bent and assembled. This laborious process ensures a durable and quality case for your Cluster Computing.
Eight Raspberry Pi with Official PoE Hat – It Fits!
The popular combination of the Raspberry Pi and Official PoE Hat or PoE+ Hat (release June 2021) will fit in one slot of space in the Cloudlet Cluster Case.
8 port PoE Switches will fit with an overhang, as seen in this picture.
Cloudlet Case Fans will fit mounted internal or external.
Please note that fans are GPIO powered, if PoE Hat is installed, GPIO pins will be covered by PoE Hat
Other Hats are fully compatible with the case, but may take two slots of space.

Main case shell: 9.37” (238 mm) x 5.65” (144mm) x 4.825” (123mm)
2 – Cosmetic color plates**If black or wood option is chosen
10 – mounting plates for SBCs or 2.5″ hard drives
4 – 50*50mm 5V fans GPIO powered
Hardware for attaching SBC such as Raspberry Pi to mounting plates
2 pairs of adhesive backed velcro pads for anchoring switch to case. Rubber Feet for bottom of Case included.
Remove Components Easily
Components are mounted onto acrylic plates.
Plates click securely into place for fast removal without bolts.
Other Features:
- Holes for zip ties to aid with cable management.
- Holes in bottom of case allow for pass through of micro usb plugs, and larger holes allow full size AC plug to pass through.
- Color plates on side of case can be removed or switched out if that option is chosen.
